Park rules
A few house rules keep Dune Town friendly for every family.
- Quiet time
- 11:00 pm to 8:00 am, strictly enforced. Radios off at 11:00 pm.
- Check in
- Campsites: 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
- Check out
- 12:00 pm for campsites. 11:00 am for rental units.
- Entrance gate
- Closed to incoming vehicles from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. The exit gate is open 24 hours.
- Speed limit
- 5 mph. Watch for children.
- Visitors
- Visitors must register and pay the daily fee. Visiting hours end at 10:00 pm.
- Pets
- Welcome, never left alone, always leashed, quiet, and picked up after. Two dog limit per site. Not allowed in rental units.
- Motorcycles and ATVs
- No Super Scoop tires in the park. Highway laws apply. No revving engines.
- Gray water
- Closed containers required. Empty at the dump station or basins outside the washrooms.
- Garbage
- Bag all garbage and use the dumpsters. Please do not leave trash in fire rings.
- Fires
- Fire rings only. Never unattended. Out by 1:00 am. Firewood is for sale at the office. Do not burn plastic.
- Alcohol
- Moderate use at your campsite only. This is a family campground.
- RC cars
- Only in the defined area near vehicle storage.
- Fireworks
- Strictly prohibited. Violators will be evicted.
- Trees
- No cutting, injuring, or nailing into trees. Do not cross the fence for wood.
- Pool
- Children under 12 must be with an adult. No lifeguard on duty. Please swim wisely.
- Picnic tables
- Feel free to move them for group meals, then return them to your site before leaving.
- Children
- Supervise children under 10 in restrooms. Children under 18 must be back at their site by 10:00 pm.
- Bikes
- No bike riding after dusk.
- Turn in time
- All campers in units by 1:00 am.
- Tents and rugs
- No tents or rugs on full hookup or premium sites unless on the cement slab. Vented rugs only on water and electric sites.
- Vehicles
- Two per site. Boats and trailers count. Extra vehicles are $5 per night.
- Shoulder clearance
- All units at least 2 ft from the road shoulder.
- Booking age
- A person 21 or older must be present and responsible for the site or rental unit.
